After acquiring the former Bemrose Booth printing site in 2011, a year after Bemrose Booth ceased trading, Ivygrove Developments spent a total of £3.5m refurbishing the site. This was one of Ivygrove’s biggest redevelopments, providing building warehousing for a range of prestigious companies including Denby Pottery and Datapath.
Bemrose Park holds two office blocks including Bemrose House and Booth House, with the former being the largest. A total of £1m was spent refurbishing Bemrose House, a 1970s building close to the beginning of Brian Clough Way. The work included the installation of a new lift and entrance and the replacement of all 120 windows. Booth House has also been refurbished to a similar standard and now offers modern offices.
The park’s excellent location is in close proximity to the Pentagon Island, providing access to A52, A38 and Derby city centre. The site also offers significant on-site parking provision within a security controlled business park and refurbished warehouses with modern office suites.
